Great Jockey. I would love to know the real reason why Godolphin dropped him for inferior replacements.
My thinking is he knew he was good enough not to cow-tow to the likes of bin suroor who does nothing but cow-tow to his Arab masters.

He has had a ride for Godolphin in the US recently, so ties haven't completely been severed!

I heard it was own fault for the Godolphin split. Late for work etc.

I'm surprised Kirby doesn't try his luck overseas. It must get a bit dull doing Lingfield, Wolves, Kempton ad infinitum.

I can't remember the exact numbers Nick Godfrey gave in his piece the other day, but I got the impression it hasn't gone well so far for in the US for SDS.

As for the split, there was the incident in Meydan when SDS objected but was ordered to withdraw it. I'd guess there might have been a bit of tension after that!
