and if that race had been during the afternoon some balances would have went kapoot...laying 110 imo was a steal 2 out.
cant see anyone claiming they bet it?

i dont normally on delayed pics you're correct, but imo laying 110 when i did was value...it couldnt win after how the race went but there was money to be laid at 30-40 thats why i didnt go bigger...i laid everything over 40 which i find unbelievable, only becos it was a night meeting with no live feed so obv not many would be playing. I used to bet massive till the premium charge came along now obv you cant...if im at a track and think something is value i still have odd bet...last one i had was on cyrius darius at hexham earlier this year.

Laying a potential Godolphin superstar at 110/1 just to try and rob a few quid. Makes sense.
The only question that needs to be asked is: was it a value lay? If yes, then it was a good bet, even though it lost.

I don't really bet i/r so don't really know much about getting value in laying massive odds and backing 1.0x shots.
I take it the form of the field isn't taken into consideration when playing in-play then? Because it ws running against mediocre opposition to me.
I'm best leaving you big players to it then if it's making you a lot of money.

Shades of Rialto Magic about it when that won at Chelmsford a few weeks back, and didn't that one hit 1000 for pennies?
Then rather bizarrely when it ran next time at Chelmsford, it was drawn better, but Timmy thought he would take it wide and try to pull off the same trick again

Rob, each to their own. I just find it incredible that he doesn't widen his range a bit. roida's poker range> pocket Aces. and he'll often fold them after the flop unless he hits trips and defo fold them if there's any straight or flush draw on..

Why bother? He makes good money and, laying 1,000 shots as he does, probably uses a large chunk of his capital every day. Sounds to me like he knows his limitations and profits nicely from what he's good at. Everyone laying into him for lack of racing knowledge etc make me laugh. If what he does is so easy, why isn't everyone at it and the game is up for him?

Rob, one may say why bother? I say why not bother? being in a clock beating position and using it so conservatively..way below its potential..is a little sdrawkcab.
