what a borefest, endless posturing pre flop, none of the players have any personality, barely any talk, a very poor advert for Poker and to think Negreanu went out in 11th
have not been impressed by any of them, no one has made any play or lay down that made me think wow, McKeehan and his stupid constant stare, he has a degree in maths but he cant read for ****, he has just been running insanely well, you would think he was good at reading or something with his ridiculous staring but he got nothing right, can you imagine Johnny Chan or someone up against these mugs, would eat them alive
whats with the taking 5 mins to fold junk every hand pre flop, the other players are going to see what you have in 30 mins, no need for it at all and just ruins the spectacle, Stern the worst for it, if he had anything about him at all he would have went all in with the King Deuce after Blumenfield 3 bet him, if you read him as weak for the initial raise to to re raise with k2 off surely you have to follow through with it, that would have been an outstanding play but he didnt have it in him
Neuville folding the 10s to the Queens was okay but he was just being really tight rather than going on a read I think and hes out now anyway
Beckley managed to bluff a couple of pots despite looking weaker than Ronda Rousey, thats when I realised McKeehan couldnt read a childrens book
the only way McKeehan loses if his luck runs out and someone else gets that luck, he obviously plays the percentages and with him running so good it seems inevitable he is going to get over the line in the end, I wouldnt back him but I have no desire to bet anyone against him
these tournaments are a pure lottery, amazing Hellmuth managed to win so many and shows how good a player he is despite the stick he gets in cash games

its on ESPN, 30 minutes behind live so they can show you what cards they have
they only show the cards of people in the hands though so you dont see what gets folded unless its a blind the players are finding out what their opponents had 30 mins later which is why I dont understand the hollywoods, bunch of tv posers if you ask me 1am it starts |

Occasionally you have to hollywood to disguise the times you have to genuinely think and when you don't really need to think.
