The local entries are not their best hurdlers and the French handicapper has Reve De Sivola with 4.5 kgs in hand of their best hope, Hippomene. He won the 4-y-old championship on this weekend last year over 3900 metres, but that's his only win since 2013 and he's unproven at this trip.

Thousand Stars is rated the equal of Hippomene and his record in France is rock solid - a one-two for the overseas challengers would be no surprise.
