I'm sure many would have seen Little Pippin do well to win at Nottingham on Wednesday after stumbling / ?clipping heels. Although it was listed as being owned by the trainer Tony Coyle, it was actually owned by Coyle's partner Jaimie, who sadly passed away at the young age of 38, a few hours after the race.
It's reported that she had been in hospital for nearly 4 months with severe kidney problems, but had been responding to treatment and a return home had been planned, however after suffering a major setback Jaimie sadly passed away on Wednesday evening.
Tony is hoping to have a race named after Jaimie at Beverley next season, her favourite course.
