REALLY, hope this wins tonight.

Been brilliantly campaigned by (Sir) John Gosden. Never ducked or shirked any challenges... ground, draw, whatever.

Has proven he's one of the very best ever, frankly.  Derby, Irish Champion, Eclipse, Arc... Amazing.  Good luck team!

That's the racing lover talking.... but I'll be backing Found, from a pocket point of view. Only value in the race!

any idea why the drift on golden horn? coming down again slowly but went from about 1.65 to 1.85 in seconds.

Will be extremely disappointed for the Euros if Golden Horn and Found didn't lead home a 1-2 here.

American wise it's the same boring group of horses we've seen for the last few years and I dread to think of the fallout if ThePizzaMan put GH and Found in their place...

i got a green on golden horn and found, as long as one of them does it, i'm happy. 1983 was the last time a horse older than 5 won this and the best american challengers are 6 and 7.

Spot on.  Having a little bit on Red Rifle though just in case.

oh right, cheers.
not long been home so not seen any of the races yet.

There are only non form reasons to oppose the Horn, as he should smash these.

He won't need to be 100%. But its been a long season, a huge run in the Arc and maybe a few other niggling doubts.

Hopefully dispelled and he romps it.

Oh dear Charlton.

I think you may have taken the blue pill, rather than the red one.

Do you have anything positive to say? Or just snipe at other's comments.... lol!

I love horses, and horse racing. Really hope Golden Horn can yet again beat the ground, draw, long season and so on... and blow this lot away.  Its a race to enjoy and just watch but, as a value bet, Found is better for me at5s or thereabouts.

Whatever happens today, he's proved himself a serious top-notcher.

Just enjoy!

I reckon the Arc and the long trip over to America + long season just hit the top off Golden Horn. Didn't like to see him get beat, but still ran very gamely.
Report carrot1960 October 31, 2015 9:10 PM GMT
Weaver talking through his ar*e again , found had been given shocking rides the last twice, she just showed what she can do if ridden handily to the pack instead of sitting last till it's too late
Report BornToWin October 31, 2015 9:10 PM GMT
Arc winners just don't win the race, a combination of factors have likely seen him run well below his best.
Report maleuk01. October 31, 2015 9:12 PM GMT

Great to see Found finally get a big one in the bag.

Golden Horn just undone by the ground/long season IMHO. Frankie rode perfectly I thought.  Take Found out, and lasix-free Golden Horn has won it.

GH is still an outrageously good horse!

Report doantwin2easy October 31, 2015 9:21 PM GMT
You'd have to wonder now about softish ground for Golden Horn. In the process of potentially getting done in Ireland on it.

And beaten on it at York by the 116 rated Arabian Queen, who was well and truly put in her place by Treve (comfortably beaten by the Horn in the Arc) in the Prix Vermeille.

My friend is Ponying the runners to the start, they say the Turf is Good, plenty of sand underneath, Turf Track drains well, Times are Fast on the Turf Track,

Times are even faster on the Dirt track,
Track Records Bettered on Friday and Saturdays racing there.

i think your question is rhetorical but there are a lot of mugs on here so i'll just point out that millar mentioned it on atr about 10 times in the last 3 hours

and finally, note that the runner up isnt even his father;s best ever so let's keep a bit of perspective. else jack hobbs is 4 lbs worse than one of the best ever...christ

Frankie well and truly outridden by the best jockey in the World. A most pleasing result, and no sickening flying dismount either.
Report doantwin2easy October 31, 2015 9:35 PM GMT
sid, i take your point, but running fast on sand is completely different to running fast on turf (turf which isn't giving way to the sand beneath).

That's why some horses don't act at Ascot (fast draining sand base) and why some horse don't act on the various underfoot conditions of the all weather.
