Typical cocky arrogant ride from Spencer.

Should have won IMO. Spencer was over confident. Needed to get involved a bit earlier.

Anybody who backed it can see who was riding it so theres no point talking about it afterwards.
Everyone knows that in all probability, he will give the meaningful opposition about a 5 length head start, and will try to make ground going around a bend. Everyone knows it should have won, but thats not much good. |

So we should avoid Spencer and bet on something that really shouldnt be good enough? Or should we avoid betting in any race he is taking part in?

mincer11, just about sums it up pal. Jamie really is his worst enemy,I think he has the talent, but like Timmy Murphy over the sticks, he just seems to have a sort of weakness.

The best horse was second, no doubt about it. There will always be a few clowns who will disagree just for the sake of it.
Not for a moment saying you should avoid any race Spencer is involved in, but for sanitys sake it mightnt be a bad idea to give him a swerve when he's riding a 4/9 shot. The infuriating thing is taht he is talented but a bit like Brian Hughes over jumps nowadays, he doesnt keep it simple. Both of them make life difficult for themselves when theres no need. |
