The breeders cup has been home to a few great commentaries. Arazi, Cigar, Zenyatta. But one of my favourites was 2013 breeders cup classic.
I suppose it may sway you when you have backed the winner and have been drinking since 6.00pm and the race is on at past midnight. MUCHO.... MACHO.... MAN !!

Btw, you say it helps if you backed the winner but I backed Yahoo at 25s in Dessie's Gold Cup. It's still one of my favourite races ever though. There'll never be another Dessie.

The commentary by Richard Hoiles on Long Run's winning Gold Cup. Most of us recall the end of a race for our favourite call but he built the race up to it's dramatic conclusion. A brilliant call and I backed Denman.

Totally agree Swardean but it was something that could not be envisaged even though we thought he could be special. (One of my favourites of all time was the "race of the century" but that now seems tame because they only ever show the run into the straight & the battle to the line - there was so much more than that to it at the time).
