Robbie Dunne for me, can never understand why he doesn´t get more rides.

Micheal Heard and unbelievably you get a claim with him as well.   Top jock in the making.

Agree with James Davies. He almost disappeared for a while but seems to be getting some good rides again. I would also include Tom O'Brien who has to take the rides that Richard Johnson doesn't from the Philip Hobbs yard and doesn't get many big race rides from other stables.

Tom Cannon......... and obviously not under-rated David Mullins is the next young lad to get a big job quite soon.

re: Michael Heard - he's pretty good for his 7 especially over hurdles but he's got a long way to go over the fences but I see signs of improvement.

Unfortunately they all give bad rides from time to time but Fehily and B.Hughes are two of the more consistently good ones over fences. D.Fox has improved a lot from what I see.

Two mentions for Tom (Cannon).  Bit of pedantry here, but not sure anyone "underrates" him.

It can't be hard to be a jockey.
What makes one jockey better than another once they've got some experience?

Not sure anyone underrates STD, Dickie Johnson or Gavin Sheehan either...

Hard to answer the original question. There are decent jockeys, good one's, and some I wouldn't back with counterfeit money...

Considering his exploits on Conygree and on some of the Henderson horses last season and this, I am surprised that Nico de Boinville is not used more. I would certainly put him in the top bracket with Fehily, Jacob, Sheehan, Coleman, Sam TD, Scholfield, Scudamore and Johnson.

Would that coincide by any chance with when he initially first lost his claim?

harsh man GC Blush

long term health of the horse is massive as they only have so much to give so FAR better imo to go easy on horses rather than have them flat out to nick 4th...brooke is the b0llocks in the north on the horses he gets on in all/most of their races
