Surely they won't go straight to Haydock? Nicholls is a master trainer so surely he has realised that this horse does not go well fresh. It ran its best Gold Cup in 2013 when it went to Newbury for the Denman Chase. It ran an absolute shocker at last years Charlie Hall before winning the Betfair Chase with plenty in hand.
Very brave move by Nicholls considering the Don will be waiting for him at Haydock.
