Oh my word, it gets worst! You can only bet a MAXIMUM of £10 per event????
By:
Oh come on, this is getting ridiculous now!
"At least 50% of your bets towards the turnover requirements must be placed on multiples (bets with more than 1 selection" |
By:
Ridiculous isn't it
By:
Swardean, I've never seen anything more ridiculous. I feel very sorry for anyone who signs up with this outfit.
By:
I wonder what the odds would be for you to get out alive with your £200 intact?
By:
Think this is the 'winner' that actually send text messages to my landline - answer phone picks up with some recorded sh1te about bonus offers!
By:
I would imagine if you are looking at turning a profit, they will likely restrict you to penny stakes as well
By:
43.7% of your rollover amount must be on rainbow riches ....

By:
Offers like this should against the gambling law
By:
Completely agree with you Sonko. Wasn't there some sort of panel set up recently to protect punters...? That's what they should be doing here with regards to this "bonus offer"
By:
I posted a while a go about this outfit.
Agree it doesn't promote responsible gambling encouraging you to bet that amount within a 7 day period. I deposited £ 200 & won £ 200 when I asked where the bonus had gone they gave me the t&c as outlined above. When I went to withdraw the £ 200 winnings they said I had forfeited that as I did not meet the withdrawal / bonus criteria. |
By:
Absolutely disgusting. ATR shame on you for having anything to do with this.
By:
Worth dropping an email to the Gambling Commission on this, assuming of course they have any staff there that understand concepts such as rollover requirements.

Don't bother with GC; they'll claim it is nothing to do with them blah blah blah. Just report it straight to trading standards
By:
The GC is full of old biddies that don't know the first thing about betting. Ted is right, best to report them to trading standards.
By:
Anyone have any experience withdrawing winnings from this outfit?...had a modest win on the cycling a few weeks ago and just decided to take a chance and withdraw.
Cheers for any feedback. |

The GC only has THREE 'objectives'
We permit gambling and ensure: • it is crime free • it is fair and open • children and vulnerable people are protected The first one generally isn't relevant these days, as the majority of operators are large companies and not the Kray's The second one is the most important, but seemingly the GC don't care about it; anything that a licenced operator does that any reasonable person would deem to be unfair is batted away with a 'It's not within our remit' bullsh1t The final one is what they spend 99% of their time doing be sending ADULTS who LOOK like they MIGHT be underage in to betting shops to see if the get ID'd. If they don't then these jokers reprimand the shop for serving these LEGAL customers, whilst at the same time completely ignoring all the poor and vulnerable types stood less than 5 yards away feeding drug and/or benefit money into the machines |

By:
just google winner bookmakers and read the examples of their disgraceful behaviour which i'd of thought was tantamount to fraud.Certainly a case of Caveat Emptor and oddschecker for one should be ashamed to do business with them.As for Cheltenham getting into bed with them it's a f*****g disgrace.

Bait offers should be made illegal.
Now that everyone who wants to legally operate in the UK has to have a UK licence this should be simple enough to bring in if enough punters complain to their MPs. The bookmakers' biggest weapon in the past was the apathy from the major of punters to bookmakers' shady tactics. Two things have changed recently: 1. The bookmakers are getting closer and closer to the line of what is acceptable. e.g. crack-like FOBTs, Bonuses with enough small print to fill a novel, the systematic limiting of tens of thousands of customers while continuing to offer any stake you like to known losers. 2. Social media and the internet means more and more people know exactly what they are up to. They can no longer hide behind comments that simply do not stand up to cross-examination. e.g moaning about arbers when there is only £2 available on Betfair. Sooner or later things will change. It appears to be the golden age for 'bookmaker' (accountant) executives at the moment. Build a website, buy an odds feed for 20,000 events a week, advertise silly bonuses to get people in. Then cut out anyone who might not be a total loser. Keep the losers on and take a slice off their wages each week. Net result is a few rich execs and dead racing industry in the years to come. |

Has someone called frog2 moved in next door..
(I have a big house and do not speak to the neighbours) He speaks like me but even more eloquently and is a star.. I have been harping on about the same points for years.. The worm is turning and yet again sell any shares in the alleged "bookmakers"... |
By:
Oh it was a "winners" thread..
You have as much chance of being paid out as a "winner" by those freaks as Brendan Rodgers.. How are such alleged firms allowed to trade... |
By:
just dont do it then .

By:
Good point but if you expect a return then..
