and then they will send folk out to stand at the wrong fence with the wrong flags and after they mess everything up they will ban the jockeys for ignoring the flags.
It is amazing how it took 400 years for the sun to suddenly appear at jump meetings. let's face it, the sun doesn't bother horses as much as it bothers jockeys. the old timers would have ridden through anything (usually with a hangover) and wouldn't have thought twice about it. now the current crop of riders are afraid of their own shadows and go looking for stuff to complain about. |
