The Racing Post site is miles worse than this one, it really is an utter disgrace.
Yes something drastic has happened to the Racingpost site.
It just packs up and closes down my browser, so I have to re start it.
Click on a race and it won't open the window half the time.
It's awful now. I've never know it this bad.

The RP has been awful for years though it did perk up for a bit when they modified it a few months ago. Back to normal now.
The worst are the newspaper/magazine sites that have audio. Not only are they slow but I tend to browse listening to music ,which is then interrupted by some awful screeching noise about 5 mins after I have logged on to the site.

I must be lucky as the Racing Post website works perfectly for me - I hope you guys are not using Spectrums or Commodore 64s .......
Funnily enough the RP is OK on my tablet. I don't normally use that at home but resorted to it the other night after it crashed for the 3rd time on my relatively new laptop.

Site now down? Other sites are fine so not my ISP or me.
Back up - could access the forum but not main site. Awful service.

and when the race is over, the site is back to normal,
I am guessing it has something to do with race streaming etc

Spyware can often be causing your computer to be slow if you don't run removal software every so often, rather than it being the site itself that is slow.
