If the old site's okay for the Aussies and Kiwis to use why can't we use it when they're asleep?
Also why can't we have a new Lite version? |
|
By:
if you're serious about gambling then pay gruss £1.20p a week...its a no brainer.

Not half as quick or reliable as the old site.

Makes no difference to me now,its geeks toy or anyone else but not the new website.

they are not listening and they won't change until the share holders ask why they didn't get a dividend, that will be after they have screwed us into the floor, so go elsewhere as much as you can or lump it

ATR & BETFAIR have screwed up sites that were well loved and turned them into dogs dinners that work less well for the punter.
Both firms should swallow the cold hard fact it was a bad move. |
|
By:
At least Betfair will open using the Opera browser (which I use) Purple has never worked with my preferred browser and even their "new" site won't open in Opera. How can a big company like Purple have a site that won't work with every browser?
|
|
By:
no idea but they should, however for the sake of using firefox i can get 2% comms for many bets and no premium charge so i'll stick as much as i can that way and hope betfair realise before it's too late that they are going downhill

I just tried again through the Opera browser and now works perfectly??? Really like the new site, very clean, very fast. No need for the Twitter feed on the right hand side but its not too intrusive. Will certainly be increasing my bet placements on there.

I notice I get matched less frequently on this sht. I seem to be two paces behind everyone as if I were playing in running!

gruss is shoite too. for what i do...at least it was last time i looked

Commission rate already increasing through lack of activity, partly because of the headache of trying to identify a bet on the hopeless new layout, and partly because of how hard it is actually to place a bet as the screen shifts, refreshes, hangs, refreshes, stalls, refreshes and finally fails to respond.
Try switching your bet to Take SP at off if unmatched. Literally a 50/50 chance whether it actually does change. By the end of the month I reckon my commission rate will have increased to the extent I won't be placing any bets on here at all. |

The new site isn't fit for purpose for intensive users. They want those people to use an API instead. I'm giving the new site a little more time to see if the changes I've suggested are implemented otherwise I'll have to give the APIs another go. Putting through fewer bets on the new site and my typos - although I'm sure it's not my fault - have increased tenfold and that's not an exaggeration.

You're all wrong and are in the minority apparently, the majority of customers prefer the new site and find it even better than the old 1 so say Butfair

At least My Markets seems to work properly on the new site - haven't had it lose everything yet. They never did fix that bug in over 10 years on the old site. And My Markets looks a lot better too with sub-markets indented like it used to be on the old site before one of the "upgrades". I use Gruss for anything intensive on one market
Oh and they now helpfully tell you when they've logged you out (just like on a proper website) so you aren't left wondering why your bet didn't cancel. One step at a time huh |
