The Stewards held an enquiry under Rule (B)11.6 into possible interference on the run to the line. Having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that the winner SCEAU ROYAL (FR), ridden by Daryl Jacob, had drifted right for a number of strides interfering with ADRIEN DU PONT (FR), placed second, ridden by Sam Twiston-Davies, who was beaten a short head. They found that the interference had improved SCEAU ROYAL’s placing in that he took ADRIEN DU PONT (FR) off his intended line of running at a crucial stage of the race, and was being rapidly caught in the last few strides. They placed ADRIEN DU PONT (FR), first, and SCEAU ROYAL (FR), second. The Stewards found Jacob in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he allowed his horse to drift right, without sufficient correction. They suspended him for 1 day as follows: Sunday 25 October 2015.

absolute farce, they suspend the market and settle it, not allowing to trade out original stake, pay out on the wrong one, then take the winnings back (fair enough) and original stake, they just do what they want
