Another strange Irish ....race?
By:
as usual nothing will be said on a t r about it

Using racecourse as a training ground, stopped riding 2 out.Filled the satchels. That's why I pulled out of Irish racing. |

JP, AJ and an established jock - has this ever happened before....
By:
barry garrety is also responsible here

Had to have a look out of curiosity. He stopped riding that a long way from the finish. Whatever the reason it didn't look good the way the horse finished virtually on the heels of the leaders.

By:
ATR camera angle a bit shy after the last ... but surely would/could have been closer before the last
![]() |
By:
The camera angle was dodgy also you could not see the 3rd horse after the last hurdle.
By:
ripped off - maybe it is, but ours is nearly as bad, and with the connections involved with that one if it was over here nothing would have been said by the media or the gutless BHA (NAP).
By:
maybe the lights just went out for the horse

I expect the application of cash will improve it in the future though...

Thomas Edison is second favourite for the Cesarewitch at Newmarket, priced between 8/1 and 12/1.

Interesting reading in the post today:
Comments In Running (Alan Hewison): Held up, took closer order in 4th after 3 out, went 3rd before next, ridden and no impression approaching last, kept on same pace Analysis (Johnny Ward): He was not always entirely fluent but cruised through the race and looked primed to assert himself readily enough coming up to the second-last. However, he did not pick up. He was found to be post-race normal. Quotes (Frank Berry): .....The third had a hard fall at galway and maybe he will get a bit of confidence from that. Berry theinly veiled admission of race course gallop? |
