It shouldn't be about how good the jockey is? It should be how good is the horse compared to the others. Imo, certainly in 'run of the mill' races - the best jockey usually wins more often than the best horse.

jockeys make errors and horses are not machines. two reasons why there is no such things as a certainty!

Yes agreed - There is never a certainty - Frankel was placed well to look like a certainty but Henry always looked very nervous and new that if there was a little something not quite right then Frankel was beatable.
