For your information, the details of how the voting works and the timetable is as follows. We'll know at 11.30 on Saturday.

Candidates: Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper, Jeremy Corbyn, Liz Kendall
Voting deadline was midday on Thursday, 10 September

When will the winner be announced? At a special conference on Saturday 12 September
Conference timings: It begins at 11:00 BST, with the result of Labour's deputy leadership election announced first.
At 11:30, the winner of the leadership contest will be unveiled; they will then make a short acceptance speech. In both cases, round-by-round details of voting will be made available to show how each winner emerged

How does the voting system work?

Voters rank candidates in order of preference. If no candidate wins more than 50% of the votes in the first round, the person in last place drops out and their supporters' second preference votes are reallocated to the other candidates. This process continues until the candidate with the most accumulated votes wins.

New Labour got rid of betting tax. It was actually the Conservatives that brought it back in with the Point of Consumption tax meaning we can no longer use SBO, Pinny and HKJC easily.

The Conservative also got rid of tax relief for BTL (good) and changed the rules for non-Doms none of which were mentioned in their manifesto a few months before. We have as much to fear from the Conservatives as Labour on betting tax.

The old saying 'you eventually reach a position of incompetence' will apply to Mr Corbyn tomorrow.

Prime Minister's questions will be acutely embarrassing for him, I can see him lasting months. If you saw how he reacted this evening when starting out on his bike ride, he is probably now regretting he ever stood for leader.

JEREMY Corbyn has held a small gathering with 12 of his closest supporters ahead of his crucifixion on Sunday evening.

With the bearded saviour expected to win the leadership contest on Saturday, Labour MPs are queuing up to deny Corbyn three times before the right wing press nails him to a tree on Hampstead Heath.

Corbyn said: “We had some bread that I baked myself and some homemade wine. I made it very clear the bread and wine were not actually my flesh and blood – I just made them. Anyway, I’m sure I won’t be misquoted on that.

“Then I assured them that three days after I’m crucified I will rise again as a quirky backbencher.”

His policies, including improved benefits for the meek, have been dismissed as unrealistic, but Corbyn, the son of a lowly electrical engineer, has attracted crowds of up to 5,000 people.

Supporter Nikki Hollis said: “Truly, he is the son of Benn.”

Meanwhile, it is understood one of the candidates celebrity supporters sat silently throughout the supper amid rumours he had sold Corbyn’s secret tax plan to the Mail on Sunday for £30,000.

Corbyn added: “So long as the party realises the folly of trying to win elections by being microscopically less awful than the Tories, it is accomplished.”
