New Labour got rid of betting tax. It was actually the Conservatives that brought it back in with the Point of Consumption tax meaning we can no longer use SBO, Pinny and HKJC easily.
The Conservative also got rid of tax relief for BTL (good) and changed the rules for non-Doms none of which were mentioned in their manifesto a few months before. We have as much to fear from the Conservatives as Labour on betting tax.

Hopefully an honest and unassuming man who cares for others will shape a Labour Party which has failed as a watered down tory party. Farewell Blair and all other "new" labour self seeking hypocrites. JEREMY Corbyn has held a small gathering with 12 of his closest supporters ahead of his crucifixion on Sunday evening.

Don't think he will bring back betting tax, but what I think he will do is make sure that all the highly paid footballers and film stars pay their full tax and also firms that are making money in this country pay their full tax. The health service would be in a far better state.
