One thing I can never understand is people choosing to follow tipsters. I can understand it maybe in the distant past, but now all the information you could possibly need is there for you. You have form, video replays, trainers comments and so on.Back your own judgement for god's sake.
Some people are a lot better than others at picking winners. Some people just don't have the time. Some people do follow their own selections but see the advantage of making money from a profitable tipster.
People can increase their income by following tipsters - that's why they follow them. It's hardly that difficult to understand.

But following a tipster like Pricewise has clearly not been profitable of late.I just wouldn't have the discipline to sit there while he's on an extended losing run, I'd rather back my own judgement.
And obviously you can't avoid losing runs any more than Tom Segal can. We're all rolling a dice. Maybe you choose lower odds/lessen the numbers on your dice/lessen the losing runs but at the end of the day it's all about profit and nobody cares about the losing runs at the end of the year.
Making a profit is 50% selections and 50% staking plan. I think a lot of people who complain about losing runs are failing at the second bit.

If I'm on a losing run I'd rather it be my losing run though. Following tipsters just smacks of laziness and a lack of confidence in your own skills to me.
If you spot a profitable tipster and judge that you can make >£x in a year then why wouldn't you follow them? Regardless of if you're doing your own selections or not. You can do both.
It's all about making money. Some might say putting all your eggs in your own basket is stupid.

somehow I couldn't revel in being a sheep, but if it works for you good luck.
Almost everybody is doing it themselves. Maybe you're the sheep?
