Horse's form is far from inspiring but that's why he's double-figure odds in a weak 0-60 race at Musselburgh.

Johnny Jenkins sends Find N Dandy a long way for this first venture into a 0-60. As I've mentioned the horses form is very weak and has been for a while. Has only beaten about 4 horses home in his last ten or so races and would be seem to be unbackable with that form. He could well be ready to run another shocker but at 12-1 in a weak 0-60 i'm prepared to give him a final chance to show he's been worth persisting with.

Has at least shown he can handle soft going in his early days with Dascombe, though admittedly it might be drying up a bit now there. But it's the drop in weights which has tempted me to have a small each-way go. He has dropped almost 40lb since his run for Dascombe when favourite for a Listed race. My thinking is that Jenkins has had him long enough and given him enough races to have given up if he was a complete lost case, which he does seem to be.

Could well be set for another shocker but I think the fact they've persisted, got him into a weak 0-60 and gone a long way for it, he might just be worth a little go at 12-1. Hurrah for B.O.G. as he could drift with such form, but I'm willing to give him a little try.

I wouldn't think there'd be too many following in on this one, so best of luck whatever you do tomorrow anyway.

Now for some lamb-rump steaks and a nice bit of red wine.

Hi Crooser,  had a look in the race to see if I could offer your selection any hope,  unfortunately I couldn't on this occasion.

I maybe wrong , but I'm sure within the last 15 years John Jenkins has sporadically sent  4 runners to Edinburgh / Musselburgh, all unplaced. Fine And Dandy has only beaten 3 rivals home during his 10 contests this season, looking thoroughly regressive, finishing stone cold last in his most recent 3 races (the latest in a class 6 with an excellent 7lb claimer up) .

I'm not having a bet but thought Spend A Penny was an interesting contender (B*), with John Quinn's horses starting to run reasonably well, he is also  8 from 22 with his raiders(36% win strike rate) here in the last 12 months. +£22.23 to a £1 level stake at ISP.

Good Luck as always, and hope he gives you a decent run.

Haha, thanks therobster, but I reckon from the general gist of my message this time, you can see that my confidence is not very high with this one.

I saw Jenkins's record wasn't great - just like the horse's, but was pinning any slim hopes on the incredible drop in his mark, but he has surely deserved that and looks a shadow of his old self. As I said though, Jenkins might well have given up and sold him, but perhaps they're even struggling to do that. I see he's drifitng already, which I said he could well do...

Long way to go for such a weak race and poor money so it's obviously last chance salloon. I don't think there'll be any harm done as I'm not very confident - let's eb honest you couldn't be - and I doubt many will back him.

Actually fancy two more today and think they're worth an each-way go.

Both at Musselburgh in the 3.00 and the 3.30.

In the 3.00 I like Gone With The wind at 10-1. Was kept to 6 and 7f when with Noseda, but since joining this yard he has dropped 16lb and has definitely looked like he's worth a try over this extra furlong.

Then, in the 3.30 I think the 8-1 for Northside Prince looks well worth an each-way go. CD winner, on lowest mark this year and has won off higher.

Had I said I was confident I'd be ridiculed due to it's form. Being given a final chance in such a weak race is rather different.

You might wish to check your own record of selections and try to improve on that before filling the forum up with the same daily mocking of others.

If you wish to discuss the runners then that is fine. Otherwise I won't reply anymore. All I was doing was replying to state the difference between confidence in a runner and a chance. Every trainer is not always 'confident' but they still run.

You can also cash out in running on this horse as no doubt it
will show a lot of speed for 3-4 furlongs before collapsing
into last place and staggering over the finish line..Laugh

Change of plan needed. So, from now on, I will only pass on to those who pm me. Any who wish to, please do NOT put the selections on here until AFTER they have ran.
