beat this ,at goodwood after the first day betfrud put a 25 mile exclusion zone around goodwood and if anybody even looked as though they were involved in horserace betting it was no bet , in fact in the racecourse silver ring office there was an area manager vetting people as they entered to see if they were bookmakers or worked for a bookmaker and barring them .

Cant stand fred but the arbers are killing the game. Not laying pricewise selections in huddersfield shops. A gang of ten were doing both shops (within 5 minutes of each other). Going by Tom's recent picks Fred would be better off increasing the limits instead of knocking punters back.

Why are the arbers killing the game? I always thought that was just bookie's bile to stop laying bets.

one guy had 8 0r 9 runners in yarmouth thats why i was told the reason for 25 quid max on pushes for everone, damn annoying for the genuine punters thou, also this lot banned from laddies and joes, quite bliss now sat mornings in the crooks you dont have to q behind that lot.

ARBERS this is term describing a small minority of people which is used by bookmakers to justify their widespread banning of any punter with more than two brain cells.

Above is correct. The problem isn't arbers, it is bookmakers who don't want to lay a bet to anyone they think has a chance of making it pay. The arbers are a convenient excuse. If bookmakers have confidence in their compilers and a built in percentage in their favour they should be happy to take wagers, but they clearly don't.

shot be illegal to offer a  price in the form of a promotion in the retail industry and not obligate people its discrimination if a big brand did it in there shops ie m and s they would be uproar,

I can see the reasoning behind restricting bets on Pricewise but restricting bets on your chosen promotional selections is plain stupid.
