I am facing this same problem myself. Going to Lanzarote for 5 weeks in the winter & intend taking laptop & carry on betting. I suppose you can always phone BF & place bets?

you can get bets on with paddy p but not betfair  u can get the text bet service case u cant get wi fi

Haven't used them for ages as they won't allow me to deposit & haven't been ar$ed to sort it out, as they very raley offer decent prices on horses I want to back, but that is an option, along with other bookmakers, but accounts are being closed down or restricted so find myself coming back to Betfair more and more, that's why I wondered whether there was a way of using it in Spain.

For Werbie & Mccoy...Can recommend Tunnelbear..free to sign up, get 500mb of data or 1gb when setting up an account...also has app for iphone (maybe android aswell, i dont know) if you are using 1 of them.

I went to hidemyass.com and downloaded an app for my PC, paid one month subscription for USD 10 which allows me to use a british server when I login on Betfair. So regardless of where you are in the world, the PC gets a IP-adress from a british server so you can place bets like normally.
