at least in football ppl like neville say what they think, even if it means criticisng a player in the england squad, racing pundits are spineless

No idea how critical Neville is now but a great pity there were no pundits criticising him when he was playing as he was one of the most overrated players ever to don the England shirt. No surprise we were not very successful with jokers like him winning 85 caps more than they should have done. Time and again he would stray upfield leaving his flank exposed and the centre backs pulled out position to cover his tactical ineptitude. Lovely photo on Wikipedia.
