Are they on commision, woman cashier made me feel most un-comftable,had to walk out in end.
She was telling me of the benefits, free bets etc,and that i should sign up,
but she really did put me on edge, bookies concerned shall remain nameless,
the games gone imo, its an arcade/casino type environment now.And all things considerd,
i bet joe corals would be turning in his grave now.

no I can guarantee they are not on commission just threat of the tic tac if they don't meet their personal targets.

Am a couple of weeks ago told the managers in their area if the staff don't meet the targets on connect and scratch cards get rid of them, and if they don't meet them it will reflect on that persons manager.

Joes staff HAD to fill a survey in 4 months ago about staff moral, I asked a bloke way up the tree 4 weeks ago at York what the results were and when were staff going to get the results, his reply was staff wouldn't as the company was ashamed of the results.

My other half has a connect card but still cant get more than a tenner on and every time she goes in a shop to put a bet on with the connect offers the machines are always down. She does however get bombarded with emails and texts offering enhanced prices, free bets etc etc but they just hack her of even more as she still cant get on.

You were lucky that you did not go in last Saturday - and get Press-Ganged into having your Photo taken, with your head in a cardboard cut-out.

As in this thread - sitting a little lower ...

ok cheers ronnie does this card benefit someone wagering about 1,000 a month on horse racing bets all non virtual.
Also had a bad experience with this un-named company about purchasing a scratch card, what was that all about?

shows you how bad it's got when an anonymous poster on a forum is too embarrassed to admit he went into a Corals ...

If you get a card it is obvious that only losers need apply...

As per the internet if you show a flash of imagination then the only card you will get will be a Red one....

rico

its the worse thing for the serious punter as its just a great way for them to legally monitor you. if you lose they will look after you but if you win few quid or back horses that shorten they don't want to know, the only way to get a few quid on in shop if your not restricted or know a good staff member. and don't mention those poxy scratch cardsSad
