They were playing recorded pics for ages behind the stalls. Then they realised they were at the 5f mark.

why on earth do the apologise?

they really do not appear as a channel to have their subscribers in interests at heart so why pretend ? makes things worse imo

I think apologising for the ****-up was a perfectly reasonable course of action.

It doesn't help anyone but they have to do it really. In fairness to them, they don't miss many starts compared to ATR.

ruk miss important shots of horses in the prelims all the time because they are showing self promotional adverts, bookies reps etc it really shouldnt be difficult to get it right with their subscription model, they only apologised here imo because their mistake was so obvious the rest of the time they could not care less

Agree with above comments there tbh.

Though presumably (and I am guessing here) the channel could not survive on the basis of subscription alone and therefore has to allow paid advertisments.

dont get me started bb! last friday they had 5 of them covering 2 evening meetings, i think they are showing signs of hardship yet

rider , my comment was about them missing the start of the race and not directly pointed to you , but to the thread in general

they didnt miss the start tho as in an ATR styley. late back from ADs etc - the pics they were showing live werent live they were recorded and then suddenly they switched as they had gone 2 furlongs - but no one was aware [viewers] that we were watching recorded footage anyway!

There was a clue though Delta, when Holly told us about the withdrawn horse before it reared in the stalls.
