He has just popped up (in the background shot) - with a microphone in hand - in the Winners Enclosure/Unsaddling after the Belmont Oaks(USA)

He must be working for another (American?) Channel today.

He's been doing the Breeders Cup coverage for NBC for the last couple of years, must be a part of that deal.

Nick Luck, a thorough professional. Deserves every gig that comes his way.

Des Lynam , was useless , the way he was wheeled out for the grand national every year was embarrassing , he had no interest in racing only knew a few names of trainers and jockeys , when the race was over couldn't wait to get back to the football results , useless .

Yes, Tilted - I particularly enjoyed the 'gig' where he tosses away all journalistic integrity to take the coin for appearing on the betting shop screens of the third biggest bookmaker in the industry in which he is supposed to remain impartial.

What a 'thorough professional' he must be, imo...

Tennis -- the BBC has (so we read) responded to criticism of the tennis round-up by changing the programme.

Racing -- forget it.
