Magoo says At First Light is running off a 5lb higher mark. Utter nonsense of course!

No form to speak of but the winner was no fluke either. The second was ridden to close from 3 out but was not getting much closer from the second last.

Bred for the game - sageform - and by notable breeders  (of horses - not themselves - I think Happy ) Mrs Paul Shanahan and Timmy Hyde

E14,500 F, E19,000 3yo; 8th foal; unraced dam half-sister to high-class Irish chaser Strong Platinum (stayed 2m4f), good jumping family of family of Gaye Brief, Gaye Chance etc

However - they sold, when the opportunity arose

HONKYTONKTENNESSEE, a rare bumper runner for the Leger winner Scorpion, travelled smoothly throughout and may have benefited from having the loose horse to keep him focused on the run in. It was a grand, straightforward performance and he has a bit of toe. He is for sale.

Honkytonktennessee, B, G, 5-y-o

You missed this bit:

QUOTES: Charlie Swan, trainer of Honkytonktennessee: "He has so much speed and jumps really well."
