Failed to get a win on the board last season but ran consistently well, even if he didn't always find what seemed likely; not in the same form this time around but did shape a little better on his latest start when held up in a race at Chepstow where it looked difficult to come from off the pace; now 6lb lower than when second over C/D last last summer.
Currently trading at 20 and generally a 20-1 poke
Chella Thriller, 1pt EW, 5.10 Lingfield
Lost her way for her previous yard and not seen for over a year, so a leap of faith required, however, well handicapped if a change of scenery has helped and is a dual course winner.
Currently trading at 44 and generally a 33-1 poke
Spiritual Star, 1pt EW, 7.25 Epsom
Another who hasn't always found what has looked likely, though given how well he can travel in his races, interesting to see how he fares dropped back to sprinting.

Caught the eye late-headway monkey style after meeting trouble in running at Gowran in April; has shown the total sum of zilch since, but a step up in trip and first time cheekpieces are straws to clutch at.

 The good news is we'll save £3 today by not doing a 10p EW Unlucky 15 as there are no selections  When I saw 20-1 for Tom Hark in the paper, that wudda been the pick at that price, but 7-2 makes it 'ineligible' for this thread! |
