That 7/2 offer for Dancing Brave is alerting my olfactory antennae as there's a rotten stench of kippers about it - that's going by the form of just the Eclipse victories of the field.
That said, Nashwan was very impressive on the day against some excellent performers, albeit in bad ground despite it being officially good.

If I would've done a tissue, Dancing Brave would've been half that price Confused

I wonder if Coral's will be acting in their usual tradition by 'discovering' a NR making only two places available for E/W betting? Mischief

The Coral-Eclipse Legends Race Classic odds:

5-2 Sea The Stars, 7-2 Dancing Brave, 5 Nashwan, 7 Mtoto, 8 Giant’s Causeway, 10 Pilsudski, 14 Pebbles, 16 Daylami, 16 So You Think, 20 Ela-Mana-Mou

would visit every shop in the land to get the 7/2....Eddery would come down the wide outside and pick the lot up...his Arc win still sends the shivers down

Giant's Causeway makes all, front four in the betting have no pace to aim at.

If there is no pace then Dancing Brave will be an even bigger certainty.....ran in a pace-less gns and pissed all over a july cup winner in Green Desert.
If anything comes late it might be Mtoto....very classy....decent f/c methinks.

I always think Daylami (at his best) was a much under-rated performer but the form of his Eclipse win just doesn't cut it with this lot (hence he's got NO chance) as he was much more the finished article a year later.

Just had a look at the roll-call for the Eclipse and I'm very surprised that Halling or Falbrav weren't given a spot...especially as So You Think is in.

Purely on form Mtotos two Eclipses would take a bit of knocking.....Reference point,Indian Skimmer,Typtych all in

there.....Particularly remember him Beating Reference Point who set a savage pace under Cauthen...as losing rides go it was breath taking imo.

Couple of shocking omissions....Brigadier Gerard...Mill Reef!

Ah I see foxy.....the two that come easily to mind are reference point and Mill Reef....I know Triptych won an Irish 2000 before coming second in the Oaks....did she run in an Irish Derby?...can't remember.
