In the Money Section of  The Times. Punter complained to FO following a football bet which won £1,710. The bet had been cancelled by them due to a 'Trading Error' at 2059hrs the day before the match which was due to be played at 1945hrs.
They argued that they had tried to contact the punter unsuccessfully the next day (they only had his landline number at 1129hrs). When asked why they did not try to contact him immediately they said that they would not ring a client after 2100hrs!!!! The FO agreed and they are not even offering a crumb of compensation. Unbelievable ruling and says a lot about SI.

I got a bit fed up dealing with them and closed my account. I was advised on the phone more or less that the match betting I favoured wasn't viable for me long term since I was up against 'connections'.

what is "unbelievable"?  It was obv the equivalent of a palpable error and the FOS agreed.
