at the 3f marker , he had a choice to pull the horse out to the right where there are 2/3 horses, instead he goes inside where there are 10 or so horses , 50 yards later he is blocked in for the next furlong with no choice to pull out left or right.

one bad decision at the 3f mark fecked it up imo

baker and kirby are both intelligent jockeys . watch ajman bridges prep run for royal ascot and a theme is apparent ,  the trainer . obviously telling em to put them out of there ground, today is not the target. imo

gpz6316 That is certainly my take of Baker's last 2 rides on Major. No intention to win rather than incompetence.

i felt that the profile was of a horse that cant handle undulations and thought newcastle would be right up his street unfortunately it looks like winning was not on the agenda today

What a day for my hero George Baker, 3 runners two big price winner and a very unlucky 5th place. That horse is very tricky needs to be dropped in and to run through horses, just would not fall right today but with a 170/1 double you can't complain. I have to laugh at some of the comments on here. Should have done the patent like I did. What a great day...
