Shaped with promise on her debut at Thirsk over 5f, hampered at the start and running green in rear, before not getting the clearest of runs when trying to make headway.
That promise wasn't confrmed on her second start when well beaten over 6f at Redcar, and low grade nursuries would seem the way forward after this 3rd qualifying run. However, makes some appeal on this further step up in trip, if that second run can be forgiven, given that she is a half-sister to a 1m7f French winner and her dam was a 12f winner.
Currently trading at 55 and generally a 33-1 poke
Gainmill Lady 1pt EW, 6.10 Ballinrobe
Better than the bare result on her penultimate run at Dundalk, but another who needs forgiving a subsequent shocker. Noticeable also that was the only time she has raced on the AW and all the other turf runs have been pants too.
Connections reach for blinkers here, and in the hope she can show more on turf, given a vote at a price in what looks a poor race.
