I disagree, I think the forum has slowly become a joke.
when i first read the forum eons ago now there was it seemed to me a range of sensible people , chancers , idiots and some decent guys who actually knew their stuff .. bit i suppose like the real world .
so we get the where we are now .. theres definatly less of all the kinds i stated and that it some ways makes it less interesting and certainly less informative .So why would anyone post on here ??
i cant speak for anyone else so let me simply tell you why i do .i find the range of views always interesting and i post stuff just to focus my mind on the task in hand ie win cash .
ive said lots of times ... i dont do form , stats ,breeding ... over the many years ive been involved in this game and lets not forget it is a game ive a range of friends who i chat to who are connected to smaller yards with the occasional bigger one ... if y look at my posts you can see i dont guess they tend to be from the same range of stables . So like today ive chatted about maybe 5horses both running today and later in the week ... they wont all win but at the present and thats all i can say enough win to give me a really good second income .Anything i post is fit fancied and off ... unfortunatly in the same race others might be the same .
the difficulty i have is decideing which to post ... if any .. ive never been vilified by anyone if they lose ... and that does surprise me considering some of the vitriol heaped on others . maybe ive been lucky ... im happy if someone posts their fancies ... some on here are really astute but y need to read for a while and its easy to see the guessers .
its a pity others dont join in ,in a positive way im not saying put up horses but certainly offer an opinion . the forum is imo less of an asset than it was but really thats due to its readers .. isnt it ?

I used to enjoy reading the forum,but its becoming a bit of a joke
you could not make this up it beggars belief. A poster on the forum posts that the forum is a joke.
The poster forgets to add that he doctored and falsified his profit and loss and got caught out trying to pretend he was a big player. The result was he was laughed and ridiculed from the forum. It was his own cheating that resulted in the ridicule.
What I can,t work out is weather he lives in broadmoor or fraggle rock.

Truth is the forum died when they changed the format , never recovered tho I will say mentalists drove a few away also
