Prior to his most recent effort at Kempton (when dropped in from a wide draw), this Kevin Frost trained gelding put up three fine efforts at Wolverhampton, of which two races were in better company than what he faces today. He was denied a clear run in a 0-70 H'cap on the 14th of March (beaten 2L when running on) before finding a 0-75 H'cap company a bit too competitive next time out, albeit still putting in a credible effort. A quick look at past efforts would suggest that today's extra distance should pose no problems (last six starts have all been over 7 furlongs) plus a 3lb drop in the weights compared with the aforementioned efforts at Wolverhampton will ensure this gelding will go extremely close in today's 0-65 contest.
