I've just been told my bet on Little Lady Katie today was a loser by a ladbrokes employee.
Finished 1st past the post but placed 2nd after a stewards.
Always used to be double result didn't it?
have they stopped this?

needless to say i kept the ticket and expect them to pay. not much point arguing with one ill informed staff member until i know the facts for sure.

There are some p1ss takers in these shops. I went into a Joe C on Thursday night to collect a winning bet for the Gold Cup. They rang up the shop I placed the bet at and I was told that they could not pay out because they had cashed up. This was just after 8.30pm. I looked at the opening hours and they're supposed to shut at 9:30pm. A bit naughty that and very silly if they get caught!
