The bloke just completely does my napper in. Out of all the psychoanalysts in the horse racing industry, of which there are untold amounts, he is in a class of own. Very popular in the weighing room though is Fitzy, they all are though 
He upsets Clare Balding which can only be a good thing.
The discussion between him and Balding on that was complete drivel. They were arguing from a point of why female jockeys of a similar ability to the top men don't get the same opportunities; as though it is a fact that there are female jockeys with similar ability to the top men.
Which is clearly isn't, given that the best they could cite, Turner aside, were Milczarek and Gannon.

I think Fitz can`t help bit come across as patronising regarding female riders but he didn`t mean to be.

It's all just so absurd, 97% of the horse racing journalist / broadcasting gravy slurpers are just a tired joke. It's beyond embarrassing the way the behave.
It is simply not possible that everyone is very popular in the weighing room. The law of averages dictates that is simply not believable, there must be some wronguns amongst them

It is an usual sport in the aspect that jockeys are retained but easily jocked off.
To slag off riders cuts deeper than other sports. It frustrates the hell out of punters but i understand why they are not.
When a footballer gets accused of poor play, it will balance out over the season with good play.
It`s hard for jockeys to ever balance the opinions, because when they win it is the horse that performed well, every so often it was a good ride but still the scales are unbalanced.
