The bloke just completely does my napper in. Out of all the psychoanalysts in the horse racing industry, of which there are untold amounts, he is in a class of own. Very popular in the weighing room though is Fitzy, they all are though

The discussion between him and Balding on that was complete drivel. They were arguing from a point of why female jockeys of a similar ability to the top men don't get the same opportunities; as though it is a fact that there are female jockeys with similar ability to the top men.

It is an usual sport in the aspect that jockeys are retained but easily jocked off. To slag off riders cuts deeper than other sports. It frustrates the hell out of punters but i understand why they are not.
When a footballer gets accused of poor play, it will balance out over the season with good play. It`s hard for jockeys to ever balance the opinions, because when they win it is the horse that performed well, every so often it was a good ride but still the scales are unbalanced.
