Hanagan has just about got away with coming from last to first so far this season. Basically, the horse has got him out of trouble. He probably still has a few pounds to spare and may be Group class but you don't need a crystal ball to envisage Hanagan running into all sorts of traffic problems? 2/1 with the journeyman on board looks extremely skinny.

the thing about this horse is the guy i know connected with the stable who incidently has given me 6winners from 8bets and one of them golden horn which stuffed his stable mate and then won the derbyofthe other two one was placed the other was nowhere,,,, he said this was a really good improveing horse last time and was very strongly fancied ...
it was given a strange ride at no point till the last 50yards did it look like winning ... yet it has a kick and is obviously highly thought of ... that said my mates off there tomorrow ... i expecting him to say lump on ... but ive no idea about the ground nor the horses its running against ,,, if stable fancy it i shall post exactly what im told but im resisting reluctantly lumping on now ... i was impressed but im not an expert . |

if you read my previous comments ... the horse is fit fancied and expected to win . i dont really understand the concept of value ... last time i had a big bet on it ... it just got there ,,, so its in a better race at a much reduced price ,,, is it value ... as an indication last time i had best part of 600quid on it ... this time ive just put on 150.... im not suggesting its a certainty given its style of running it can never be that .im haveing a decent week so im not intending to give too much back if it loses .plus theres another one tonight im very interested in .i do wonder incidently given its running style it might go pretty big in running but perhaps thats already out there

Seems to me to be the perfect candidate to be a lay with a view to back at a bigger price in running given its style of running.

Well done backers. Change of tactics did the trick. Given the slow pace a hold up ride would have been a major negative.
