Totally outclassed. Only won a Class 4 and Class 5 previously. Add to that he was only 'fancied ' because he was tipped up by Pricewise. Which is enough to put the mockers on any horse.

Suggest you have a look at its maiden form when he beat or ran close to at least four horses rated 100+. On that basis the horse looked extremely well handicapped on ground that should have suited. Add in this was only his sixth run so he could easily have taken a big step forward. He has just run an absolute shocker. I suspect plenty of people who fancied him take absolutely no notice of Pricewise.

it doesn't matter what ppl said or pricewise thought, the horse was sweating between its legs in the parade ring and utterly awash when it got to the start. I can't understand why a vet can't have a look at a horse in that condition and say that it doesn't seem in a state to run.

Exactly Dave & that was the reason I laid it for a place. As you say it was sweating between its legs in the parade ring but it was in a right state when it went in the boxes.
