This in my opinion is the best bet of the entire week. The price is generous to say the least, no doubt because of the AOB RM factor ( Found). Anyone watching the Guineas would have to say this horse was perhaps given a less than perfect ride/ passage through the race. The same mistakes  will surely not be made here. I'm on! Good luck all, especially me of course! ExcitedDevil

I thought she was the best filly at HQ but this is a stiffer test of stamina. Think Found will murder these tomorrow

No doubt in my mind as to Lucida's stamina. Ascot will pose no more of a problem than Newmarket. She had a lousy time of things at HQ and still almost claimed the win. Only beaten by the run of the race, and a horse that was almost an Oaks winner. Had she NOT been switched here there and everywhere, and hitting the front too soon, I believe she would have won. Winning in this company is never going to be easy, but if the jockey does HIS job properly today, Lucida will win. Good luck all!

On the figures I have Lucida well clear but they've been dealt a cruel blow with the draw. Don't underestimate its effect. Found will have a huge advantage as well as a much better jockey. If manning has to do anything more than point and shoot, there's trouble..

I think the draw is perfect to be honest. Granted, Moore is in great form, but his mount still should not finish in front of Lucida IMO.

You got it right re Manning Howellsy. Draw didn't bother me and he did have ample time to get closer. IMO should have won. Place bet got me a bit of profit though.

Too far back on home turn in a Group 1. Asked an awful lot of the horse. Not great.

Probably best over a straight mile if she is to be ridden like that, he was always going to run out of time trying to pass them all in the straight. Not helped by having to go wider a couple of times. Maybe he was riding to instructions, if so they got it wrong on this track.

In my OP I did say the same mistakes wouldn't be made. The JOCKEY was the mistake once again.

Sat motionless at the back early doors! Could have been closer. No good sitting there looking pretty then deciding to get serious entering the straight!
