No trainer can make an impression if he employs a bumm jockey, its no coincidence that murtagh has 3 winners this season,two ridden by Smullen and one by Hughes. If McCullagh and his daughter rode them all, then he'd have no winner this season.
You only have to look at Ascot to see what difference a jockey makes. |

Brilliant jockey. But the fact he charges the most in Ireland in training fees means he's not gonna have a full stable anytime soon.
