Heard one of them say earlier "we are paying out a million every time Ryan Moore wins a race at R.Ascot". The interviewer didn't bother to ask how much they took on the race, though, because it wasn't a net million loss.

don't think either of you have a clue. For business' with 10 million customers- to do a million on a Ryan Moore horse- bottom end of potential losses - but prevaricate on

its the same old bullsh1t from all of them all of the time
thankfully fewer and fewer people are believing their bile and you would think with royal ascot being on it would be busy in the bookies...not so in the laddies + cake shops near me, hills a little busier |

If you listen to the way they phrase it, it's always 'we paid out', not 'we lost'.
So while they may have taken in 20 million, the story disseminated to the media is that they 'paid out 10 million', forgetting to mention the part where that actually gives them a ten million profit. If you work in PR, your job is to make people believe lies - nothing else... |

If they didn't pretend to lose, who would bet knowing that they always win in the end...
Oh hang on..... |
