Such a shame that Brown Panther misses this race, i think he so much better than the rest.
If Forgotten Rules can handle the ground he should win, but there me better value ew somewhere i think. |

cant see forgotten rules winning this - ground to fast, not sure why they are running him - they made it so clear about suitability of the ground as the main factor in the run up to this race - definite lay for me despite the course watering ...

No way they would risk this horse if they had serious doubts or real concerns about todays ground, too highly thought of and this is not a novice trainer its Mr Weld a qualified vet who nos the time of day me thinks it runs its a banker.

Had a few ££ on Forgotten Rules 2day (3s) if he handles this ground ok i think he will take all the beating, classy stayer. The fast ground is a major concern tho

You need to be very careful evaluating form for the Gold Cup. This race is almost like the Grand National. Form over shorter distances is often misleading and the gap between class horses and 2nd division horses disappears in the last 2 furlongs. That said, I don't have a Scooby what will win. I might have a few quid on Bathyrhon to lay off in running. Good luck guys.

Surprised they are running Tac De Boistron on that ground shirley the water they put on will have done very little given the weather
