the incident in Dubai, and probably because he's not the yes man they're looking for.

That said, it still baffles me how even now, he often reverts to riding some of the yaks in the north as opposed to the blue bloods in the south.

De Sousa wanted to lodge an objection after a race. He was told the Sheikhs don't do that. He still wanted to lodge the objection. That's what I read. Don't know if it's true. He was sacked after.

Another cracking ride

Anyone know who his agent is nowadays?.  SDS is undoubtedly the second best jockey (behind Moore) riding in Britain but away from Johnston horses he seems to be primarily booked up on longshots for small yards.  He is winning good races at the grade 1 tracks so the middle tier trainers must be aware of how well he is riding, could easily win the jockeys title if said agent gets their act together imo...
