I am in a state of shock & maybe I am missing something here but I have had a massive bet on Osaila in the 5.35. The fav Always Smile, who she has to give 7lb to has won all it's 3 races, the last a 75-94, 8 runner race @ Donny for £7439. She's 9/4 in places. Osaila won a Group 3 back in April @ Newmarket & then came 7th in the 1000 Guineas. The write up in the Post suggests she might not stay the mile and yet as a 2 year old year came 3rd in a Breeders Cup Race over 1 mile for £331,325(!) keeping on final furlong after winning £168,199 race @ Newmarket over 7f. Previously she won a group 3 over 6f @ Ascot. She's 14/1. I'm not hanging around waiting for the price to collapse, I have had £100 to win and another £150 ew, my joint biggest bet this year. As I say? At the prices, am I missing something?
Does appear large (too large?). Not as if Hannon's dont know what they've got at about a mile. Jersey was obv race but avoiding Ivawood. Jellicle Bell being shorter despite two moderate/poor runs is bemusing. Going for this race is the sort of thing you do with a filly you're worried about regressing and you don't want to lose completely (can always blame the weight / wrongly handicapped other horses). That said, I'm small ew. Frankie not pushing her in final furlong fading to 12th is also v possible. GL

Nice to get one go my way in the photo, but would of been a desperately unlucky loser. Had another £50 ew at my local Coral. Biggest bet, biggest single win ever.
