- have had a go on this one after todays shenanigans - my heart has only just settled down to a murmur - staked 500+ on the day and was doing my proverbial s until Bob came to the rescue - ended up 12 spot down and felt like i was a winner...dont need that kind of day again but got away with it..bad bet in the first had me rocking all day

Sounds like the Ladbrokes life ad.

haha - yes i thought that too - but decided to put it up anyway..def not laddies life but a nice mixed bunch...just a banter thread and maybe we strike lucky in combos etc or some nice priced individual bets...today was a wipe out until Bob came along away from Ascot
I see Sam Bell hit a double today..she has a decent book of rides at Hamilton tomorrow and maybe worth looking away from Ascot, not the strongest of jocks, but horses seem to run well for her |

An outsider for me, money just coming for it. Wolf of Windlesham - Ham 5.20 would have placed at least lto with better luck and would not be 16/1 today (18s with a couple) had he done so, down 2lb as well.

Bob has two in the first and two in the second 2.30 Bossy Guest and Fadayyil 3.05 Rah Rah and cry me a river Here is his write up on both My first angle is Bossy Guest - 9/1 - who is 5lb better off with Ivawood (carries penalty) for 0.5l and raced stand side towards rear, headway and switched right over 1f out, soon short of room, ridden and ran on inside final furlong My 2nd angle leans towards the filly Fadayyil - 10/1 - who is relatively unexposed and had her first run this season in the 1,000 Guineas behind Legatissimo who the day after Gleneagles win ran the same course in about 3 seconds faster time. Should one take notice of times.... Queen Mary Stakes 5f 15:05 Rah Rah (MJ) - 11/1 - Interesting as silks have shifted from the Green to the Blue (oops - Buratino) and normal improvement puts her in with a shout as she beat the colt Silver Wings, 6 weeks ago, at Chester, who is tied in form wise with Buratino and DC. Cry Me A River - 14/1 - First time out Tommy elected to take on the colts including Washington DC and the winner Round Two. Clearly running green, but closing over the 5f from the back. Normal improvement should put her well in the mix over the same trip against her own. |

I'm with you on Bossy Guest and Rah Rah, but would also add Tupi in the first race. Trip and ground are perfect and the form of last win took a big boost yesterday with 2nd finishing runner up to Gleneagles
