Been over this on the Solow thread but can someone come up with a reason at around 1.8 to place this isn't a stand out bet? So far between a few of us we all only have the same worry... Mr Doyle he's far from my favourite and i can see myself swearing at him for getting caught out in a tactical race (which looks likely) AGAIN!!!! Any opinions?
it's almost impossible to come too late over straight mile at Ascot...pretty much the only way you can ride a bad race in this size field is to go too fast and he aint going to be ridden from front..not sure what your problem with Doyle is, one of the safest pairs of hands out there imo

N of T has a cracking record on a straight course, where the other two need to be running round bends. The Newbury form looks red hot. He's a cert to place & better than a 5/1 shot to win.

As with everyones opinions its generally base don your own experience with the jockey. All jockeys ride bad races, some more than others. Some bad rides are un avoidable others are, Ive been on doyle a few times where i really feel he made simple mistakes that cost him the race. A few others agreed n other threads, some here have disagreed, thats gd that is what this forum should be about. Not the bitching that is usually on here lol
Im on N O T to place, betting without, ew and looking for match bets. Im a big fan think he's underrated, and although the front two are more flash i think there are holes in them. I like solow but at 6-4, really come on win, lose or draw how can you justify backing him at 6-4? Certainly not on form you can't. Able friend i admit to being no expert on at all, i get the feeling hell either win or totally blow out though. He's beaten Toormore 4 times, think he's a funny horse I'm not totally sure on still, but cant see no obvious reason why he should beat N O T. Unless you believe what hughes said pre post lockinge. I tend not to, would rather use my eyes then my ears.
The rest really shouldn't be involved, just worried its a slow tactical race (looks like happening) and some of the lesser horses get in the way of what is a truly intriguing race

"he may be underestimated but he wasnt better than Kingman" Yes he was, on strongly run races, which is hopefully what he'll get today as well as that'll bring the best in him which was better than Kingman.

Glory Awaits will certainly make it a strongly run race, and then you have Solow which should go on from 3 out if he wants to have a chance against Able Friend's turn of foot. On top of these you'll have the Thunder who will take it up in the last part.

don't think glory awaits it as headless as he used to be, think hughes will try steal a mark with torero as he's a grinder, he can be keen tho. Slow is the joker i think his best chance is to sit closer to the pace but wouldn't be surprised if he was anywhere tbh. Hoping N O F will be sitting behind torero and get first run on them.
