yep, Wincanton for one...same C&Ds as prev, just remeasured accurately ie they've always been running over 1m 7f 153y but have fibbed and called it 2m prev

They've just remeasured from the inside instead of the middle duncan, nothing more sinister than that.

We had a long thread on this last week - carrot.

National Hunt courses have all been Re=Measured by using the INSIDE Rail.

Previously - the measurement was made by using the middle of the track.

The PREVIOUS method would - ironically, and in fact - Often be MORE accurate - as the INSIDE RAILS on the bends are quite often moved OUT, to save turf for either their more important meetings, or to let the inner turf recover.

Somewhat typical BHA irrational thinking, therefore... as only the couple of horses racing against the INNER Rail will actually be covering the NEW shorter distance.
