Least fav would have to be the St James's Palace stakes in 1992 when a below form  Arazi was well beaten behind Brief Truce and Rodrigo De Triano.

There are so many to chose but probably Shavian also in the St James's Palace, very good price too . Henry Cecil was my fav trainer and used to love the Lord Howard De Walden colours.

Honourable mentions go out to

High Estate - Coventry Stakes
Paean - Gold Cup
Goldikova - Queen Anne
Lochsong - King Stand

Oh and Sikeston beating Inner City in the early 90s in the Queen Anne would be a close 2nd to Arazi's race as my least fav race. Had my 1st ever £20 on a horse in that race, that horse being Inner City. If betfair had been on the go in those days he would have traded 1.01 i would imagine

Cant stand handicaps apart from the 1m4f 3oy race but the one race i enjoyed the most was the 2013 prince of wales, it had the hyped o'brien runner, the brilliant The Fugue and a certain Al Kazeem.

Goldikova, one of my favourite horses of all time never really showed her best at ascot imo.

Not sure if they are my favourite races, but the most memorable day for me was in 1987.

Then Again and Half a Year winning for Cochrane and Cumani when they were my favourite combination.

I believe Mtoto also won on that day as well.

I remember well the Gold Cup from the mid 70s to the early 80s; some great horses won more than once  - Sagaro, Le Moss & Ardross

Zilzal in The Jersey Stakes 1989 was a sight to behold.

I was in London for less then a week in 1992 looking for work when I did an each way lucky 15-Brief Truce 25/1,Beyton 16/1,Kooyonga 15/2 and a Bolger also ran in the Coventry. The disqualification of Kooyonga cost me about £2300 at a time when I had £500 to survive on until I found work and that included a deposit on accommodation.
