Just after some clarification. Backed Consort e/w antepost for the race Tuesday. Bookies are now place terms the first two due to withdrawals. Do i still get first three places as it was when i placed the bet?. Thanks in advance.

Capt is wrong imo. You should get paid on 3 places. As they where the terms and conditions @ time of placing bet

Geoff is correct, if your bet was placed before the final declarations you'll get first 3 places

Clearly a smart horse but how it can be rated about a group 3 winner/g2 runner up after winning a listed race is crazy. 6/1 is not value unless the fav goes lame.

both his times were pretty ordinary so to me it has plenty to prove...he could turn out to be good but 6\1 is the price of a horse has no holes..........

Regarding the original post - the number of places that will be paid out depend on the bookmaker terms at the time the bet was placed.A certain Irish bookmaker is well known for terms such as 2 places unless 8 or more start.
