Clearly a very unlucky day for the northern journeyman, riding a gamble that appeared to show about as much pace as a three mile chaser and now something that shouldn't be on a racecourse. Memo to all owners please give him something to make him look half-decent, after all didn't he win the much coveted jockey's Championship?
